My love for Disney World has always been something that people around me didn’t quite get. This wasn’t always the case obviously. It was normal when I was a kid and up until my late teens. But as soon as I started going to college, whenever I talked about Disney World to my friends and family, they would always sort of “give me the eye”, and I get why that is. When you grow up, you’re supposed to grow out of all things Disney, aren’t you? Just like Santa Claus.
Going to Disney World alone, as an adult, is it weird?
So that’s why my first article here on the website is going to be a conversation starter, an article for kicking off a discussion on whether or not it is weird to go to Disney World alone, once that you reach adulthood. I mean that’s pretty obvious, young kids rarely go to Disney World alone. I could also add as a topic for the discussion the question of whether or not is it weird to be a fan of Disney World when you grow older.
I did a little bit of research and discovered that there are other adults like me out there who are equally as weird as me, I guess. They are full grown adults with Annual Pass to Disney World. Such weirdos, I know, but there are many advantages to going to Disney alone. You get to visit only places that you want to visit, spend times at places that you love, and so on. Of course, there disadvantages, like that you’re looked at weird. So what do you think, is it weird to go to Disney World alone?
